I believe that's sign language for "you're an idiot". OK, this requires explaining ... there was a heavy thunderstorm on Saturday and the lady from the hotel insisted she make us garbage bag ponchos despite us assuring her we would be fine to run across the road and buy an umbrella .. anyway turns out our skills at politely declining in Español are not so good, hence the awkward photo. La playa.
