to celebrate that fleeting moment when kilbot.net was the first port of call for all those “glistening with pre-cum”, i have an announcement…
i’m coming home!
i’ll be home on thursday the 25th of september and back to melbourne on the 29th of september. perhaps some suitably nasty spa party is in order?
p.s. i would like to thank the tireless work of james laney and fancy bower (and by association dj kl and barney valmadre) for their efforts in taking kilbot.net to the top of the internet porn pile.
for those that care, as of yesterday me and mel are no longer seeing each other.

saw my first bag snatching today.
i’m sitting on the tram, route 1, from port melbourne to the city. it’s about 11am, i’ve just finished a 10 hour shift at rehame so’s i’m feeling a little fragile already. we stop at the corner of collins and swanston, some sunday shoppers get on, the doors start closing. next thing there is a squeal from the back door, a woman in her 30’s screams ‘oorr fuck’n'hell’ and there is a noise like someone is stuck in the door. but she wasn’t stuck in the door, that was the sound of her getting ripped back out through the doors by the bag snatcher.
i look down the back of the tram and see a really tall guy with a bright green tracksuit striding off towards federation square with the bag in his hand, a couple of guys from the footpath give chase. he didn’t seem to be running fast, but he had a fair bit of a head start, just those couple of seconds before the guys realised what had happened, then made a decision to chase or not.
he disappeared around the corner and the tram pulled away. i felt a bit sick, but was ok by the time i got home.
hello, a lot has been happening but I haven’t had a lot of time lately to sit down and write… hopefully soon… (this sounds familiar, ‘I’ll write more once I start travelling’, ‘I’ll write more when I get to Melbourne’, ‘I’ll write more when I get a job’…)
Well anyways, here’s a quick update.
New House: I’ve got a new house in North Fitzroy (436 Queens Pde, phone (03) 9481 4590) but don’t phone or send me your underpants yet cause I haven’t moved in. At the moment I have nothing but a bag of clothes, so there’s not much to move in.
New Job: I’ve got a new job with Rehame which is down in Port Melbourne… this is like going from Mt Hawthorn to Nedlands but it takes me an hour to get to work on the tram. Hang on, come to think of it, it took an hour to get from Mt Hawthorn to Nedlands on public transport as well.
New Haircut: On account of my new job I have a new haircut. I got it at a hairdressing academy, which is sort of like a police academy except they cut hair better at a police academy. It wasn’t too bad but they seemed pretty keen on the ‘fin’ hairstyle sported by sporty types such as Mr Beckham, and I didn’t want to confuse them so that’s what I got.
