Limbo

I hate this time of year.

No more footy, the cricket hasn't started, and all we have is the trade week and draft to see us through.

Meh.

That is all.

Geez, why doncha start a thread about it?

    …oh

Sir Whitnall and Danny Motlop to Demons

Lynch for a pie and fanta

  2. KizzL says:

Whitnall to the Dees? Motlop, sure, but you guys don't need the Manatee. You already have Boofhead Neitz and Russell Fancy Bogan Robbo, so where is Lance going to play? In the pub?

    Demons Line Up 2006

    B: Brown Carrol Whelan

    HB: Wheatley Miller Rivers

    C: Yze McLean Bell

    HF: Robertson Whitnall Davey

    F: Green Neitz D.Motlop

    R: White Bruce Moloney

INT: Nicholson, Bizzell, Sylvia, McDonald, Ferguson, Holland

    = premiers 2006

Seriously, we're building a house in Phi Phi for the Broadbridge Trust, which will focus team unity…

anyone else BUILDING A HOUSE in the offseason?

    = premiers 2006!

    The Acenese?

But seriously, you can't be serious. The suggestion that Shitnall will improve your lineup is a damning admission, Jerry. If the rest of the team use him as part of their weights session, maybe.

  5. Blazin Billy Zabka says:

Just read that we're keen as Dutchy "Roadhouse" Holland has not been offered a new contract - Roadhouse had a good year, but is sporadic and Miller is twenty times better…

I concur that Shitnall [& I] has been thru some shit lately, but in 2001 there is NO DOUBT he was the *best* individual player in the league! Even if he can return to half that form, at least he plays every game (ie not unfit) and also leads well to free up Neita at full forward…

Now look what they've gone and done! Made the Greatest Forward Line in the game today since, well:

    HF: Neitz Schwarz S.Smith/Yze

    FF: Farmer Jakovich Lyon

Yes - *that* is the Greatest EVAH!

Ah BDW, you are so deluded.

  7. Giovanni says:

What about Fevola? Will two Eye-talian stallions be too much at the GFC?

I've always thought Riccardi would be good at FF once he started to slow down, but it looks like he'll continue to pinch-hit on the wing. It worked this year…

As long as Jimmy Bartel stays at the club and Oh Brad's groin holds up we're laffing.

    B Wojcinski Scarlett Josh Hunt

    HB Milburn Harley Jarrad Rooke

    C Kelly Bartel Gary Ablett

    HF S. Johnson Playfair Chapman

F N. Ablett Oh Brad Kingsley

    ________________________________________________________

    R: King Ling Mooney

INT: Mathew Egan, David Johnson, Kane Tenace, Peter Riccardi,

EM: Cameron Thurley, Charlie Gardiner, Matthew McArthy, Andrew Mackie

KK and Oh Brad to kick 50 goals each. Jimmy Bartel to win the Chas B. The King to hold up his silver chalice on grand final day.

We might not have a flash forward line, but our dee-fence is the best in the land and our midfield can kick goals. No less a personage than Daicos himself has called Chap-man and Gary Jr "the best small forwards in the league".

  8. Blazin Billy Zabka says:

But what would really be comedy gold would be Fev + Richo forward line at Richmond…

Can you imagine the stats on cumulative dummy spits?

Fev on a lead, overruns it, Leo Barry runs off down the wing with the ball, Fev doesn't chase, Richo shakes his head and swears at him whilst simultaneously writing off every single Richmond player and coaching staff…

However, with hindsight, is signing a player for one of the most expensive contracts in the league - during a massive form slump, during mid-year - and now looking to trade, um, considered the fuckedest business move since Neesham traded the rights to Lloyd to Essendon for a pack of Samboy Salt'n'Vinger?

Good luck for 2015 Blues fans

  9. Giovanni says:

    MORE CRICK-ETT

Check it: That Man Afridi's one day stats vs today's Aussie bowling line up -

127 runs from 78 balls at an average of 31.75.

    That's a strike rate of 162.82.

  10. KL says:

Punter finally won the fucking toss and batted first.

    Gilly and Katich opening.
