Exhibition at Indigenart

Posted by Henry F. Skerritt | Filed under: News

MAKING CONTACT: FRONTIER STORIES FROM BORROLOOLA
INDIGENART, THE MOSSENSON GALLERIES CARLTON
OPENING 6PM WEDNESDAY 8 JUNE 2005
With TONY ROBERTS
Author of Frontier Country: A History of the Gulf to 1900

—–EXTENDED BODY:
This is an opening that you should all attend. Tony's new book dispels the recent 'Windschuttle-esq' myths that no Aboriginals were massacred on the Australian Frontier. In fact, at a recent seminar at NSW, Roberts came face to face with Windschuttle and absolutely floored him. I highly recommend that you all come! The artwork is great as well, as is the wine!

I concur with above suggestion. Anything that's bad for Keith is good for me.

    Keith getting nailed…

I would like to see that, Thommo!

  3. theHirsch says:

look, he didn't say that 'aboriginals' weren't masacred. he said 'people' weren't masacred. let's not get bogged down with semantics…

  4. appalled says:

since when is massacre spelt 'masacre' Hirshy boy? Let's get bogged down in basic spelling!!

  5. theHirsch says:

rats… well i'd rather be accused of poor spelling than being racially insensitive ^_^

  6. appalled says:

me too…spelling is overrated…main thing is clarity and coherence as language evolves (I just couldn't help myself) :D
