MC 900 Kilometer Genge - kilbot.net exclusive
Posted by Bigg Daddy Wallbuxx | Filed under: News
Kilbot.net presents an exclusive release of MC 900 Kilometer Genge's refiddle of the MacArthur Park lyrics. In an impromptu interview at the Captian Stirling, Genge gave me some background to the song;
“I sort of knew the lyrics to MacArthur Park, so Graham Hill and I recorded them… it was a Friday afternoon.”
The result was Chocolate Log.

Barney says:
"Sort of" being the operative words there… That Genge is one funny cat. And I mean that in the wierdest sense of the word.
KL says:
<pedantic mode on>
You mean "weirdest", Barney.
The rule goes "i before e, except after c, and also in some other random words, so this rule is freakin' useless."
<pedantic mode off>
Barney says:
Fuck. I hate being wrong in spelling and grammar. Thanks for the pick up…
hamish says:
That is the awesome-ist awesome.
The edge of reality.
killer says:
hey barney, perhaps you can take solace in my most favourite-ist of quotes;
"There is value in learning through humiliation…" S. Famousguy
Barney says:
Hey, you know what? That S. Famousguy was right on! What am I worried about? I know I'm a good speller. And a little humiliation really goes a long way these days. Thanks, S Famousguy, and thanks to you too, Kilbot!
Blazin Billy Zabka says:
Hmmm, just had the first listen and can honestly say 3 things:
1) I *had* heard these lyrics before listening to the EMF/Technotronic Remix ["ooooweeeoo, y'know that sumthin good is gonna happen..."], and funnily enuff tracked them down on The Internet (lol2004) under the heading "Worst Songs Of All Time"
2) Yup, that's Genge
3) It ain't no Sleepy Song (tm The Roho Boyz) - acoustic OR 2004LOLTECHNOMEGARMX
3a) On the basis of Point 3 above, can u possibly conceive the type of AWESOMITY of songs that would evolve, if this RTR technology was in the hands of myself, Big Perm, Shane Mori, MC Bigg Drawers (aka The Loaf), Fancy D, 2gz of whiz and an ozzie?
killer says:
perhaps you, Big Perm, Shane Mori, MC Bigg Drawers could record the vocals, email it to Fancy for a backing beat.. then we can release it to the world via kilbot.net…
perhaps I'll chalk that up on the list of things to do.. musicbot, for the previewing and sale of all our musical endeavours, complilation cds etc
p.s. kilbot.net v.2 is on the way.. release date September 19th.
