Kilbot.net presents an exclusive release of MC 900 Kilometer Genge's refiddle of the MacArthur Park lyrics. In an impromptu interview at the Captian Stirling, Genge gave me some background to the song;
“I sort of knew the lyrics to MacArthur Park, so Graham Hill and I recorded them… it was a Friday afternoon.”
The result was Chocolate Log.

Well, it certainly appears that “Purse Your Lips” isn't going to be as popular as some of the other Crap-Tel products. Unless we start to give away Masters of the Universe figures with every copy sold.
So, how about this? Our marketing gurus have come up with a new idea for a compilation album featuring the greatest synthesiser riffs in history. Possible album titles include:
“Synthcronicity”
“That Synth Makes the Heart Grow Fonder”
“The Seven Deadly Synths”
Here's a few tracks to give you the flavour:
Jump/Van Halen
The Final Countdown/Europe
Pressure/Billy Joel
Just Can't get Enough/Depeche Mode
So, let's hear it, people. We want synth riffs and we want them now.
EDIT: This thread has gone to hell. The comments have turned into a bitch-fight between BDW and Vadge-Ra, with several unwholesome photos. Visit at your peril.
Following the enormous success of Crap-Tel's first two compilation albums (“A Call to Arms” and “Songs Called Jump”), Matty Milner and I have decided that we need to release a third installment.
This new compilation is tentatively titled “Purse Your Lips: The World's Greatest Whistling Songs”.
We have a few hits lined up, but we need your help. Please tell us your favourite whistling ditties and help make this the biggest and best Crap-Tel release so far.
The beginning of our tracklisting:
Jealous Guy/John Lennon or Bryan Ferry
Love in Motion/Icehouse
Patience/Guns 'n' Roses
Winds of Change/The Scorpions
Alpha Beta Gaga/Air
So as you can see, we need your help. Let's hear it people. We want whistling, and we want it now.

This is my last weekend in town, I fly out on Tuesday the 20th of July. I still want to catch up some contributors to kilbot.net… Bigg Daddy Wallbuxx, B-Diddy DubSac, Blazin' Billy Zabka… I haven't even met some of these people. Anyways, here are my movements for this weekend, hope to see y'all soon;
- Bastille Day: Giovanni Torre is having a party in West Leederville on Friday Night… French tunes, French champagne, French kissing.
- Captain Stirling: I will be at the Cap S in Nedlands from 1pm until the Dockers play at 7ish. This would be a good chance to catch up with me before I go.
- Family Food Barn: On Sunday the Greater Kilbot Family will decend on a unsuspecting eatery, and drink.
Perth; where cars rule the roads, Dog Swamp rules the traffic islands and House Parties rule everything inbetween…
Here are my movements for this weekend,
- House Party: Andrew Strika is having a party on Friday night in the Greater Nedlands area for his birthday.
- Purple Haze: Dockers play the Roos at Subiaco Oval on Saturday night, game starts at 5ish.
- Victory Party: There will be some victory drinks after the game… not too sure where but somewhere in the Subiaco locale… CC and Yo don't know it yet, but I think it might be in their spa.
- Arts and Crafts Sunday: Collect items from around Perth, ingest remnants of the weekends festivities and make some postcards for friends in Melbourne.
