Jim and Asha on tour

Posted by Bigg Daddy Wallbuxx | Filed under: News

Western Australia will lose another of it's favourite Sons and Daughters this Friday when Jim and Asha depart our shores. Soon they will be living it up in Hong Kong and then onto London, Europe and back to London again for an extended working holiday.

Travel safe guys, Australia needs you back at some stage (Jimbo, we will need you in Melbourne on September the 25th to watch the Dockers claim their first AFL premiership), and keep in touch, we would love to hear a few stories and see a few pictures via kilbot.net.

Bon Voyage Jim and Asha

Travel safe and well, J & A… Perth won't be the same without you, but then neither will Europe be the same after you…

Ash and I will miss you, and look forward to your ongoing stories.

    Go Dockers! :D

  2. Jim says:

Thankyou Pauly, especially for attaching such a flattering New Years Day snap. We've pencilled in a couple of years, which could extend or reduce depending on circumstances (one of which would definately be to witness first-hand the Purple Juggernaut with the switch flicked to 'Pulverise' in September). We'll be in touch, and if any of you fine folk are travelling to Europe in the next few years, it would be ace to hook up.

    Farewell and good luck, Kilboteers.

sorry 'bout the picture Jimbo, it was the only one I had. I know you(se) guys must be busy, but if you get the time to email a recent photo, I will change it over… we don't want any Londoners to mistake you for a soccer thug ;)

  4. Barney says:

I don't know… I think the soporific-eyed, slack-jawed look is just the thing for luring others into that false sense of security that's so useful when joining the world of soccer-thuggery…

Take heart in the fact that Killa and I must have invariably looked far worse to all those sorry ass punters at the Perth Cup. We would have killed for your rogueish charm and rugged good looks…

  5. Jim says:

Not at all, Killer. I was joking, even if I do look like I lack the mental capacity to bat an eyelid whilst skinning someone's granny.

Fare thee well, Sweet Ones. Please accept my humble apologies for not making it to the Cap S to revel in the joy of the Purple Gods mercilessly destroying the Drunken Lynchs last week. They obviously won as a tribute to yourselves, a parting gift as it were.

Keepin touch via email or shoutbot if you ever get a chance, we'd love to hear what's up in the rest of the world.

I've heard that people have "fun" over there!

To paraphrase a great Tina Turner movie: One man enters…two [wo]men leave…

Best of luck in merry ole Engerland, don't forget they drink warm beer, *don't* sign up for "Wife Swap", rip the shit out of Robbie Williams AT ALL TIMES, always say "nuvver pint dere guv'nor?", and don't forget to keep up the good tipping on Allen Jakovich's Gambling & Crayfish House!

    Best wishes from $BDW$

    Bye bye guys!
We couldn't hope for two finer ambassadors. Obviously, If you're coming through Melbourne at any stage, let's hook up. Kirsty and I have a spare room.
Best of luck - keep us posted won't you?

  14. KL says:

Mmmmm… spare room, eh? Sounds tempting! Mind if we get smashed with you and crash in it one night in June?
