Badger's post there in the Ol' Shoutbot™ has reminded me of the names I have planned for my children:
1. Jesus. For my first born son, and I would push the whole package.. “Yes son, a lot of people have been waiting a long time for you. You've got a lot of work to do.” When I told my mum of my plans to call my first born son Jesus she started crying…
2. Hygienic-Lily. For my first born daughter. Hygienic-Lily's are those little plastic lids that come with your favourite beverage from your favourite fast food restaurant. A beautiful pairing of words and the hyphen makes it so classy.
3. Nasdaq. For the next child, boy or girl, preferably Asian. My best scientific research indicates that the youngest child is always the most technologically advanced, and how good would it be to have a computer whiz kid called Nasdaq in the house.

I think any self respecting computer nerd should choose their children's names from the 'Junk Mail' folder, for example, the last three spams I received were from Alvin A. Kaplan, Grady McNeal and Weldon H. David… perfectly good names for the Fruit Of Your Loins™

Just riffing on your junk mail idea, how about using names from Nigerian Scam Emails? A few examples would be Mariam Abacha, Kareem Salami, Danladi Amed… [url=http://www.quatloos.com/cm-niger/nigerian_scam_letter_museum.htm]the list goes on[/url].

It just occured to me that another good name for the lil sprog thats talented on computers could be "Wang".
The bonus would be that while you're having your friends around for a few schooners of brasso you could be entertained by making gags at your child's expense simply by yelling his name loudly.
The flipside of course being that while you're doing so he'd be quietly sitting at his computer in some chatroom looking for a new daddy…
