Benazir Bhutto said "You can't be fuelled by bitterness. It can eat you, but it cannot drive you."

Yeah, you may be right, Benazir, but that sure doesn't stop me from feeling bitter that Pretty Boy Cousins got more Brownlow votes than State Captain Peter Bell. What a rort.

Let's just let this years figures speak for themselves:

Kicks
8. Peter Bell Fremantle 336
32. Ben Cousins West Coast 282

Marks
49. Peter Bell Fremantle 106
Ben doesn't rate …. not in top 100

Disposals
3. Peter Bell Fremantle 570
13. Ben Cousins West Coast 498

goals
66. Peter Bell Fremantle 20
99. Ben Cousins West Coast 17

Handballs
8. Peter Bell Fremantle 234
12. Ben Cousins West Coast 216

Tackles
23. Peter Bell Fremantle 70
Ben doesn't rate …. not in top 100

equal on frees
20. Ben Cousins West Coast 26
21. Peter Bell Fremantle 26

Not to mention
Bell = Captain of State Side and All Australian
Cousins = default vice captain and loser

Also, I would love to know how the Dockers can travel to Victoria, beat Melbourne by 30 points and only have one vote getter. The umpires really are fools sometimes.

But I would like to congratulations to Adam Goodes for being a worthy winner, and for taking his Mum along. What a champ.

And well done Mark Ricciuto, you are a good honest bloke.

As for you, Eddie, you make me want to retch. I wish I could like Nathan Buckley, but you have tainted him with your smarmy ways.

Go Brisbane.

Other highly questionable vote allocations included Bell not getting 3 votes when we beat Adelaide by 1 point at Subi, Bell not polling for the second derby (he should've got 2 and Pav not getting 3 for the 1 point win over the Ro

    * over the Roos, that is.
